</did><bioghist><p>A separate <extref href="http://historyresearch.utah.gov/agencyhistories/109.html">agency history </extref> is available.</p></bioghist><scopecontent><p><emph render="bold">DESCRIPTION:  </emph>In accordance with Utah law, Bear River City produced financial statements at the end of each fiscal year (Utah Code, 10-6-150, 1991).  These financial statements summarize the financial affairs of the community, listing receipts and disbursements.  Beginning in 1970 the financial statements are accompanied by audit reports from the independent auditor, who was required to inspect the books.  From 1981 forward additional balance and income statements are included  for different funds, including the cemetery, the general fund, the sewer fund, the irrigation fund, and revenue sharing.  General ledgers and check registers are also included. </p></scopecontent><arrangement><p><emph render="bold">ARRANGEMENT: </emph>Financial statements and audit reports are arranged chronologically.</p></arrangement><add><relatedmaterial><p><emph render="bold">RELATED RECORDS: </emph>Series 19994, MUNICIPAL FINANCIAL REPORTS contain duplicate copies of these statements and reports because they were required to be filed with the state auditor (Utah Code, 10-6-150, 1991).</p></relatedmaterial></add><admininfo><processinfo><p><emph render="bold">PROCESSING NOTE: </emph>Bear River audit reports and financial statements were microfilmed by Utah State Archives in November 2000 and processed by Rosemary Cundiff in February 2001.</p></processinfo><prefercite><p> <emph render="bold">PREFERRED CITATION: </emph>Cite the Utah State Archives and Records Service, the creating agency name, the series title, and the series number.</p></prefercite></admininfo><odd type="gaps"><p><emph render="bold">GAPS: </emph>There are no financial reports for 1969 in this series.</p></odd>
