CEMETERY DEEDS1899–ongoing 2 microfilm reels

DESCRIPTION: This series documents the ownership of graves in the Bear River cemetery. Each deed (or title of conveyance) includes the names of the purchaser, the dates of the purchase, and a description of the plot. Letters of transfer of ownership and perpetual care agreement numbers may be included with the deeds.

ARRANGEMENT: Chronological.

RESEARCH NOTE: This series was filmed at two separate times. The first filming in 1992 included Volume B through page 205. The second filming in 1997 included Volume B pages 205 through 247. Bear River City may still be adding documents to this volume.

RELATED RECORDS: Series 10621, INTERMENT REGISTERS, documents the burials for the graves.

FINDING AIDS: Volume A has a name index at the end of the volume. Volume B has a name index at the beginning of the volume which only covers those deeds registered by March 1992.
