Series 84762

DESCRIPTION: These interment registers document burials in the city cemetery. The registers generally include columns for the sexton's name, information about the deceased, the location of the grave and type of casket and vault, and information about inquests. Although not all columns are completed for each entry, the information about the deceased usually includes the name, date and place of birth, date and place of death, and cause of death.

ARRANGEMENT: The entries in these volumes are arranged chronologically by date of death.

RELATED RECORDS: Series 6356 contains diagrams of plots showing persons buried in close proximity to individual graves.
