Series 84760

DESCRIPTION: This series documents burials in the Kaysville City Cemetery. Each page in the volumes describes one or two lots which may contain any number of graves. The records include a diagram or map of the lot with each grave assigned a number within that lot. The remainder of each lot record is a key to the graves in the lot, which may include the name of the deceased, date of interment, interment number and record book page (in reference to series 22081), transfer information, the place of death, the undertaker's name, and a space for remarks.

ARRANGEMENT: Chronological by date of burial or alphanumerical by location of grave. Volume A is arranged by location of grave, first by plat letter, then by block number, thereunder by lot number. Volumes B, C, and E are roughly arranged by the date of the first burial in each lot.

RELATED RECORDS: Series 22081, INTERMENT REGISTER, contains a chronological listing of persons buried in the cemetery and is referenced by this series.

PROCESSING NOTE: This series was filmed in 1982. Archival processing was completed by Arlene Schmuland in August 1999.

GAPS IN THE SERIES: Book D was not filmed and is not in archival holdings.
