DESCRIPTION: The alphabetical index to incorporation records was created by the Salt Lake County Clerk to facilitate access to the incorporation case files. Each entry includes the following information: name of the corporation, case number assigned by the clerk, incorporation record book number, and record book page number.
ARRANGEMENT: Alphabetical by corporation name.
RELATED RECORDS: This series facilitates access to Series #3888, INCORPORATION CASE FILES. Other incorporation records are held by the Salt Lake County Archives.
PROCESSING NOTE: This series was transferred to the Utah State Archives on January 2, 1968. Permission to microfilm and destroy was granted January 8, 1968 by the State Archivist. Originally reformatted as jacketed film for the creating agency, this format was again reproduced in microfiche for the State Archives at an unknown date. This series was archivally processed by Kenneth R. Williams in August 1994.
