Series 24036
BLUE MOUNTAIN MINING DISTRICT (UTAH). RECORDER. [3124]
ENTRY BOOK, 1894-1897.
1 microfilm reel
A separate agency history is available.
DESCRIPTION: Blue Mountain Mining District recorder, A.L.F. MacDermott, created an entry book in which he kept a chronological list of all documents recorded. For each document he noted the name of the claim, whether it was lode or placer, the kind of document and the dates it was created and filed, the names of locators and his assigned file number. Most documents were notices of location.
ARRANGEMENT: Entries in the Blue Mountain entry book are listed chronologically by date of filing.
RESEARCH NOTE:
The Blue Mountain entry book was created in a preprinted registry which was intended to be used as an index. The letters printed at the tops of the pages are irrelevant.
RELATED RECORDS: The location notices and other instruments referenced in the entry book were recorded in Blue Mountain Mining Record Book A, which is MINING LOCATION NOTICES, series 24035.
PROCESSING NOTE: The Blue Mountain entry book was microfilmed by San Juan County in February 2001 and processed by Rosemary Cundiff in January 2002.
