DESCRIPTION: The county recorder created an index to identify page numbers in Abstract Books B-B 4 on which he entered abstracts for land in each section in Washington County townships. References cite page numbers in abstract books where entries were made involving that section.

ARRANGEMENT: The index presents each range in numerical order, 10-20, and within each range includes a page for each township in numerical order, 38-43. Each page has 36 lines, on which are recorded references for a section of the township.

PROCESSING NOTE: The sectional land index was microfilmed by Utah State Archives in January 1994 and processed by Rosemary Cundiff in June 2001. Earlier microfilm copies of this index were deaccessioned in processing.
