DESCRIPTION: This is an alphabetical index of companies incorporated to do business in Emery County which was created by the Emery County Clerk to facilitate access to the Articles of Incorporation Record Books and Incorporation Case Files. The series provides the case file number, corporation name, date of filing, record book, page number, amendments, notes, and capital stock amount.

PROCESSING NOTE: Incorporation records and indexes were first scheduled as permanent records in 1978. The index was microfilmed by the Utah State Archives in July 1996 and the volume was returned to the County Clerk. The entire series was archivally processed by David Clark in August 1996.
