Series 14945

DESCRIPTION: The alphabetical index to incorporation records was created by the Box Elder County Clerk to facilitate access to the incorporation case files and record books. Each entry includes the following information: name of the corporation, case number assigned by the clerk, incorporation record book number, and record book page number, instrument (i.e., oath, articles, amendment, bond, etc), and date of filing.

ARRANGEMENT: Entries are arranged alphabetically by corporation name.

RELATED RECORDS: The Secretary of State's copy of the actual articles of incorporation are located in Series 5192, INCORPORATION CASE FILES. This series indexes Series 84091, INCORPORATION RECORD BOOKS.

PROCESSING NOTE: Archivally processed by Kenneth R. Williams in 1995. This series was microfilmed in 1992, with the original volumes destroyed following filming as they lacked distinctive intrinsic value.

GAPS IN THE SERIES: Indexes from 1856 through 1900 are missing.
