DESCRIPTION: This series consists of a ledger documenting the purchase of plots in the Morgan cemetery. Ledger columns include the name of the purchaser, the date of purchase, the cemetery number, the plot location, and comments which often include notes regarding transfer of ownership. Some individual purchaser balance sheets are also included.

ARRANGEMENT: These records are arranged alphabetically by first letter of purchaser' s last name.

RESEARCH NOTE: Some records may date to earlier than 1897, but the date columns on those are marked as " no record."

RELATED RECORDS: Series 22135, DEATH AND BURIAL REGISTER, and series 22136, INTERMENT REGISTER, include information related to the death and burial of the persons interred in the graves.

PROCESSING NOTE: This series was filmed by the Genealogical Society in 1967. Archival processing was completed by Arlene Schmuland in September 1999.
