INTERMENT REGISTER, 1901-[ongoing]

DESCRIPTION: This register documents burials in the Charleston cemetery. Columns include the name of the sexton; the name of the deceased; the deceased's date and place of birth; names of parents; religious affiliation; marital status; date, place, and cause of death; the name of the physician or nurse in attendance at death; and the location of the grave. Not all columns are completed for all individuals.

ARRANGEMENT: The entries in the volume are arranged chronologically by date of death.

RELATED RECORDS: Series 24236, INTERMENT CARDS, includes similar documentation for some of the individuals referenced in this volume.

FINDING AIDS: A name index to the deceased appears at the beginning of the volume.

PROCESSING NOTE: The records through 1991 were filmed by the Utah State Archives in 1992. Archival processing was completed by Arlene Schmuland in May 2002.
